Terms & Conditions
Last updated July 2026
These terms apply whenever you shop with Liquorice by Pryter ("we", "us") through this website. Placing an order means you accept them — so here they are, in plain language.
Our products
We make small-batch liquorice confectionery. Because each batch is handmade, appearance may vary slightly from the photographs — the recipe and the care behind it do not. Every product page lists ingredients and allergens in full; please read them before you order.
Pricing
All prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include any applicable taxes. Prices may change from time to time, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. If we ever list a price in obvious error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full.
Ordering and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm your order by email after payment. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if a product is out of stock or a price was listed in error — and if we do, anything you've paid comes straight back to you.
Payment
Payment is processed by CHIP, our payment provider, on its secure hosted checkout. We never see or store your card details. Your order is confirmed once CHIP notifies us that payment has succeeded.
Delivery
We deliver across Malaysia. West Malaysia shipping is free on orders over RM150 and RM10 otherwise; East Malaysia rates are calculated at checkout. Orders are dispatched within two business days. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Returns
Liquorice is a perishable food, so we can't accept returns of opened products. If an order arrives damaged, or an unopened product isn't right, tell us within seven days and we'll make it right — see Shipping & Returns for how.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Malaysian consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999. Beyond what the law requires, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
